About it

Caps are useful. They protect your eyes and your head from the sun, and rain. Caps keep your head warm when it is cold. There are many shapes and sizes of caps. Caps come in different materials and in different colours. Some caps even have words or pictures on them. Caps are sewn on a sewing machine.

Your task

Draw an amazing cap for yourself. Draw it on a sheet of paper using coloured pens or pencils. Draw your cap so that it is useful and fun. Make your cap out of coloured paper or card. See how it looks.

Do it step-by-step

To design is to make something new, just as we want it to be. We design step-by-step. The first step is to LEARN. We want to know more about the thing that we are designing. So, we learn about it. The next step is to DRAW. We draw it just as we want it to be. Drawing is designing. The last step is to MAKE. We make it just as we want it to be. When it is made, we can finally see it!
