About it
Children wear shoes for school and for going outside. Shoes are useful for walking, for playing sports, or for playing games. There are many makes and shapes of shoes, and different patterns and colours too.*
(*Shoes are also called trainers, sneakers, takkies, and so forth.)
Your task
Draw fun and colourful patterns to decorate your shoes. Make your shoe patterns using coloured paper and coloured card. Then put your pattern on your shoes with adhesive tape. See how they look.
Do it step-by-step
To design is to make something new, just as we want it to be. We design step-by-step. The first step is to LEARN. We want to know more about the thing that we are designing. So, we learn about it. The next step is to DRAW. We draw it just as we want it to be. Drawing is designing. The last step is to MAKE. We make it just as we want it to be. When it is made, we can finally see it!
