About it

Children carry a pencil case to school every day. A pencil case is for pencils, pens, erasers, and sharpeners. There are many shapes and sizes of pencil cases, some are soft, others are hard. The pencil cases are different on the insides, too.

Your task

Draw a new pencil case just for you. Draw your pencil case on paper. How can your pencil case be useful and keep your pencils, pens, erasers, and sharpeners safely? Make your pencil case out of paper or card. See how it looks.

Do it step-by-step

To design is to make something new, just as we want it to be. We design step-by-step. The first step is to LEARN. We want to know more about the thing that we are designing. So, we learn about it. The next step is to DRAW. We draw it just as we want it to be. Drawing is designing. The last step is to MAKE. We make it just as we want it to be. When it is made, we can finally see it!
